By using GhostDeck you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully. The key points: you own the content you create, we provide the service as-is, and you must not misuse the platform.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using GhostDeck ("the Service"), operated by Apexian Labs LLC ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
2. Description of Service
GhostDeck is an AI-powered pitch deck generation service. You provide information about your company and we generate presentation slides in PPTX, DOCX, and Google Slides-compatible formats.
The Service is provided on a subscription basis with the following plans: Starter ($29/mo), Pro ($59/mo), and Agency ($149/mo). Pay-per-deck generation is also available at $19 per deck.
3. Your Account
You must create an account to use GhostDeck. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.
You may not create accounts for others without their consent or create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits.
4. Ownership of Content
Your inputs: You retain full ownership of the company information you provide to generate decks.
Generated decks: You own the pitch decks generated using your inputs. You may use them for any lawful purpose, including investor presentations, sales materials, and commercial use.
Our rights: We retain the right to use anonymised, aggregated usage data to improve the Service. We do not claim ownership of your specific deck content.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use GhostDeck to:
- Generate content that is false, misleading, or fraudulent for the purpose of deceiving investors
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Infringe the intellectual property rights of others
- Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service
- Share your account credentials with others (Agency plan seats are the exception)
- Use the Service to generate spam or unsolicited commercial content at scale
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
6. Payment and Billing
Subscription fees are billed monthly or annually in advance. All payments are processed by our PCI-compliant payment provider. By providing payment information you authorise us to charge the applicable fees.
Refunds: If you are unsatisfied with your first generated deck, contact us within 48 hours for a full refund. Subscription refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. You will retain access until the end of your current billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for mid-period cancellations.
Price changes: We will provide 30 days notice before changing subscription prices.
7. Free Trials
Certain plans include free trial periods. No credit card is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial period, you will be asked to subscribe to continue using the Service. If you do not subscribe, your account will revert to the free tier or be deactivated.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that generated decks will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.
AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all content before use in investor presentations or other business contexts.
We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from security vulnerabilities.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apexian Labs LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Intellectual Property
The GhostDeck brand, logo, website design, and underlying technology are owned by Apexian Labs LLC and protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from our brand assets without written permission.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms, fraudulent activity, or at our sole discretion with 30 days notice.
You may delete your account at any time from your Profile page. Upon deletion, your data will be removed within 30 days in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
